MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR THE RICHLAND CLUSTER BEGINNER PACKAGE!
In addition to this initial equipment purchase, there is also the students’ keyboard instrument rental to consider. These instruments are not required, as they are not used in the classroom, but they are highly recommended. It is possible for the students to stay after school or arrive before school to practice on the school keyboards. However, it should be made known that students with practice marimbas generally show a greater amount of improvement in a shorter time. Your student may fall behind in their keyboard study with our an instrument at home to practice on.
Practice Marimbas can be rented, rented-to-own, or purchased from a company called Marimba Warehouse.
www.marimbawarehouse.com
The rental for these instruments will be handled by a company called Music and Arts
The model to purchase/rent is the Linda Maxey Practice Marimba w/stand. The instrument rents for $49.95 a month
Keep in mind that this is not an instrument to be brought from school and back on a daily basis. It is to be left at home for practice purposes.
As of this time, the specifics of the rental have not been finalized through Music and Arts. Please stay tuned-
We do not begin keyboard study until November, therefore rentals will not need to begin until that time.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about this, or any other aspect of the Richland Cluster Percussion Program!
